The village of Peroulades is a traditional, picturesque village famous for its beauty and the serenity it radiates to its visitors. Here, you will enjoy a peaceful holiday amidst nature, experiencing one of the world's most romantic sunsets, while overlooking the uniquely beautiful Loggas Beach.
The village of Peroulades will impress you from the first minute of your visit, as it is a small old village on the northwestern side of the island, with a very strong Venetian influence in terms of its architecture and the atmosphere it exudes.
The Venetian influence is evident, as you will see mansions with Venetian arches and coats of arms of noble families. Another characteristic of the Venetian traditional architecture was the roofs with classical Byzantine tiles, which still fascinate every visitor today. The village of Peroulades highlights one of the many different faces of cosmopolitan Corfu. That is why we highly recommend it!
The name of the village comes from the surname Peroulis. The composition of the village is placed in prehistoric times, while there is evidence that the area was inhabited from the Late Paleolithic period (12,000 years ago).
The quaint little village in question possesses an abundance of history and cultural significance. The locals are deeply proud of their community and diligently preserve its traditional allure. It is a hidden treasure that simply begs to be explored and experienced firsthand, allowing one to fully grasp the true depth of its beauty and rich heritage.
It is a quiet and relatively sparsely populated village, where apart from a mini-market and some traditional tavernas, you won't find anything particularly noteworthy, although it does have hotels and apartments for accommodation.

The biggest attraction of the village, which draws people from all over the world, is the famous cafe bar located right above the beach, "perched" on the rocks, hanging over the cliff of Longas. There, you will experience one of the best evenings of your life, as the view is breathtaking: the sky and the sea merge into one, bathed in the mesmerizing shades of the red sunset. You must not miss it!
Loggas Beach: A Nature Lover's Paradise
In addition, this bar is famous for its glass balcony, where you feel like you are floating right above the rough rocks that surround the beach. A stunning view and an unforgettable experience that everyone should experience and capture with their camera - although it will surely be forever etched in your memory -.
Loggas Beach stands out as one of the most extraordinary natural landscapes you'll ever encounter. Its wild beauty is truly one-of-a-kind, incomparable to any other. The shoreline is embraced by rugged, towering cliffs that seamlessly blend with the sandy expanse. It forms a broad yet narrow stretch of sand that, in stormy weather, seems to be engulfed by the fierce waves of the sea.
The water, on the other hand, boasts a pristine clarity akin to glass and a vibrant green hue reminiscent of an emerald. Within these immaculate waters lie scattered, jagged rocks of various sizes, poised in the brine-like natural adornments. This is why exercising special caution is imperative should you decide to explore this beach up close. Access to the beach is via steps, which are well-kept. In any case, you must be careful, as they are very steep.
In the Peroulades area, you also can discover Cape Drastis, a beach similar to Loggas, with exceptional natural beauty and turquoise, crystal-clear waters.
Furthermore, it's worth mentioning the famous and stunning channel of love, the "Canal D'amour," which is also located in Peroulades. Nature has once again created an idyllic area with unique rocks that form a series of coves and canals.
It's noteworthy that all these rocks and formations surrounding the beaches are made by nature from clay, a mineral cosmetic ideal for moisturizing and toning the skin. Try a beauty treatment with it while you're at one of these beautiful beaches!
